Dear WMS Families,

We hope this message finds you well! We have had a busy, busy June already! Here are some events that happened this month:

Below are details about Chromebook (and charger) returns, locker clean outs, and other end-of-year events.
 

Chromebook Returns, Locker Cleanout, & End-of-Year Events

As we approach the end of the school year, we know this information was in the newsletter, but we wanted to remind you of some important dates and events happening at WMS:

Thursday, June 18:
  • Biology Regents Exam (at HS)
  • 💻🔌 Chromebook/Charger/Case Return for Grade 7🔌 💻
  • 7th Grade Seabreeze Trip
  • Starting Locker Cleanouts
  • HS Graduation, Eagle Stadium, 7PM

Friday, June 19:
  • Juneteenth - No School!

Monday, June 22:
  • 8th Grade Spanish I Checkpoint A Exam - Big Gym
  • 💻🔌 Chromebook/Charger/Case Return for Grades 5 & 6🔌 💻
  • Locker Cleanouts Continue

Tuesday, June 23 (HALF-DAY, 10:40PM DISMISSAL):
  • 🌞💦 5/6 Field Day 🌞💦
  • 💻🔌 Chromebook/Charger/Case Return for Grade 8 + anyone who hasn't yet handed them in🔌 💻
  • Locker Cleanout (for those not finishes)
  • 8th Grade Ceremony rehearsal during 7th and 8th periods in MS cafe

Wednesday, June 24 (Half-Day, Dismissal 10:40 AM):
  • Last Day of School - Connection Activities with each class!
  • 👏 8th Grade Celebration, 7:00 PM, High School PAC 👏
  • We are excited to celebrate our 8th-grade students' achievements! The evening will include a ceremony with certificates of completion, a photography station for memorable pictures, and refreshments in the high school cafeteria. Invitations have been sent in the mail. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Thursday, June 25:
  • Enjoy Summer! 😎😎😎😎

🚌 What do we do with our bus cards? 🚌

Please note that students should hold onto their BUS CARDS for next year.

Please secure the card somewhere safe during the summer!
