Through diverse literature we can explore how to navigate difficult situations, overcome adversity, solve problems, and learn from mistakes...all from the safe-distance provided in a book. Through diverse literature, we learn compassion, understanding, and tolerance of those who are different from us, by seeing the world through someone else's eyes.
